JK Huey, CMB
CEO, VFSAC
JK is the CEO of the Veterans Financial Services Advisory Council (VFSAC). She also serves on the National Board of Directors of Operation Homefront, specifically in helping military families obtain homeownership. She also advises the organization on its other endeavors, including providing relief to veterans in the form of financial assistance, rent-free transitional housing, holiday meals, and back-to-school initiatives for children of veterans. Previously she was the CEO of Huey Management Services, an independent consultancy to the mortgage industry. Prior to consulting JK held senior management positions at Wells Fargo, IndyMac Bank, and HomeSide Lending. A long-time supporter of the mortgage industry, Huey has served as a member of MORPAC, TMBPAC, RESBOG, chairman of MBA’s Loan Administration Committee, as well as Chairman Emeritus of the National Mortgage Servicer Association. She has also served as President of the Texas Mortgage Bankers Association, President of the Association of Professional Mortgage Women, the Black Knight Mortgage Advisory Board, the Fannie Mae Customer Advisory Board, and the Freddie Mac Servicer Advisory Board​.
Terry Smith

CEO, Rushmore Loan Management Services
Terry Smith has more than 25 years of experience in residential mortgage servicing. He currently serves as Chief Executive Officer of Rushmore Loan Management Services, a national residential mortgage servicer and originator and as a Senior Managing Director at Roosevelt Management Company, Rushmore’s parent company. Rushmore serves its clients through lines of business that include special servicing and prime sub-servicing, correspondent lending through our Rushmore Correspondent Lending Services division, and property management and disposition through its wholly owned subsidiary Dakota Asset Services.​ Prior to his time with Rushmore, Terry served as Managing Director at Ellington Management Group, Executive Director at Morgan Stanley, and Senior Vice President of Litton Loan Servicing. Terry is nationally recognized for building Best in Class operations in servicing, asset management, due diligence, and property disposition. ​ Terry’s charitable involvement includes serving as Chairman of the Board of Pitch in for Baseball & Softball, Chairman of the Veterans Financial Services Advisory Council​, and Board Member of Operation Homefront.
Ali Haralson

Named President in March of 2021, Ali Haralson was previously Chief Revenue Officer and Managing Director of Auction.com, overseeing the business development and operations of an auction platform that has sold over $54 billion in residential properties. She partners with clients to optimize programs to return homes to the market faster, ensure the preservation of homeownership, and enhance neighborhood stabilization. Her profound understanding of client needs has led to revolutionary products like Portfolio Interact™, Bid Interact™, and Offer Interact, which are changing how clients do business. She has expanded Auction.com's involvement by supporting housing, neighborhoods and veterans. Previously, as the founder of SLS, Ali grew the company to over $50 billion in servicing and 1,400 employees. She designed programs that led to tens of thousands of loss mitigation alternatives to foreclosure, resulting in distressed homeowners staying in their homes.
Doug Whittemore

Head of Default Servicing, U.S. Bank
Doug currently serves as the Head of Default Servicing at U.S. Bank. In his role, Doug manages all default servicing functions for both U.S. Bank’s mortgage and consumer loan portfolios. Prior to joining U.S. Bank, Doug held several different executive roles with JP Morgan Chase, Nationstar Mortgage, Springleaf Financial, and has worked internationally with Citibank. While with Citibank, he led a group that launched Citibank’s first successful mortgage product in Poland, which was Citi’s first mortgage product in the CEE region. Doug also is the Co-Founder & Treasurer of The Ruth Cheatham Foundation, a Dallas based charity supporting adolescent cancer patients and survivors. Doug’s other volunteer works consists of: DS News Editorial Advisory Board, Dallas Social Venture Partners (DSVP), and board member of the Kikulu Foundation. He has been a top fundraiser for the Dallas March of Dimes along with several other cancer research non-profits. He also has the privilege of overseeing U.S. Bank’s Veteran giving programs consisting of free home repairs and both home and vehicle donations.
